Environment pollution and cause
Hello frieds, welcome to my article. here information based on environment pollution.
We think about environment ,today very bad situation of our environment, their are some reasons
We think about environment ,today very bad situation of our environment, their are some reasons
1.Increasing pollution too much
2.Water polluted-
Water is one of the most useful substance on earth. It is important for all living organisms. Three forth part of Earth is covered with water. Which quality of water on the earth is in oceans all the freshwater which we use is in less quantity. If we imagine that the total quantity of water on earth is bucketful then the freshwater is only
one teaspoons. Water is regarded as polluted when is changes its quantity and composition directly or indirectly as a results of humans activities so that it become less suitable drinking drinking propose, domestic use agriculture practice, fisheries or other purpose. Thus, addition of harmful and unwanted materials into water is called water pollution.

Air pollution/land pollution
There are many vehicles and more traffic increaseing day to day they cause too much air pollution,...........
Detail in Air Pollution
Air Pollution too much due to technological advancements and termendous increase in pollution our energy needs have increased manifold.More and more people use many cars, vehicles, etc.and all human beings are now burning more and more fuels. This icreased use of fuels has several harmful effect on the environment. Burning of fossil fuels like coal, petroleum, diesel and wood produce various air pollutants like carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, oxides of sulphur and nitrogen and unburnt carbon particles which cause severe air pollution.
what are effect of various pollutents on human being?
Pollutents in the air cause many diseases in human beings like-
1.Carbon monoxide cause respiratory problems may even lead to death.
2.Carbon dioxide cause greenhouse effect.
3.Oxides of sulphur cause to produce acid rain, damage to lungs.
4.Oxides of nitrogen cause lung congestion, produce smog.
5.Smoke cause respiratory problems.
6.Dust cause allergic reactions.
How carbon dioxide gas are harmful for our environment?
Carbon dioxide released by the burning of fuels is not a poisonous gas. But excess of carbon dioxide given out traps more sun rays in the earth atmosphere.
The increase in concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere increases the rate of greenhouse effect. This lead to increase in the average temperature of the earth. This is colled global warming. So,global warming is the cause for the rise in average temperature of the atmosphere of the earth.

Please read carefully this note....
1.Typricallt in a metro city,250 tons of carbon monoxide, 400 tons of hydrocarbon,600 kg of lead and 6 tons of Sulphur dioxide is released into the air everyday.
2. The greenhouse effect is the rise in temperature that the earth experiences because certain gases in the atmosphere like carbon dioxide and methane etc. trap energy from the sun without these gases, heat would escape back into space and earth average temperature would be about 60°F colder. Because these gases warm our world, they are referred to as greenhouse gases.

Which gases responsible for acidic rain?
Gases such as sulphur dioxide and oxides of nitrogen dissolve in the water vapour present in the air and form corresponding acids which fall as acid rain.
Harmful Effects of Acidic Rain..
1.It is highly corrosive and harmful for both living and non-living.
2.It damages plants and cause harm to soil, water resources, aquatic life and animals.
Soil / land pollution
Soil contamination or soil pollution as part of land degradation is caused by the presence of xenobiotics (human-made) chemicals or other alteration in the natural soil environment. It is typically caused by industrial activity, agricultural chemicals or improper disposal of waste. The most common chemicals involved are petroleumhydrocarbons, polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (such as naphthalene and benzo(a)pyrene), solvents, pesticides, lead, and other heavy metals. Contamination is correlated with the degree of industrialization and intensity of chemical substance. The concern over soil contamination stems primarily from health risks, from direct contact with the contaminated soil, vapours from the contaminants, or from secondary contamination of water supplies within and underlying the soil.[1]Mapping of contaminated soil sites and the resulting cleanups are time consuming and expensive tasks, requiring extensive amounts of geology, hydrology, chemistry, computer modeling skills, and GIS in Environmental Contamination, as well as an appreciation of the history of industrial chemistry.
In who many ways soil pollution are harmful for us and their are causes.
1. Deforestation and soil erosion
Deforestation carried out to create dry lands is one of the major concerns. Land that is once converted into dry or barren land, can never be made fertile again, whatever the magnitude of measures to redeem it is. Land conversion, meaning the alteration or modification of the original properties of the land to make it use-worthy for a specific purpose is another major cause. This hampers the land immensely.
Also there is a constant waste of land. Unused available land over the years turns barren; this land then cannot be used. So in search of more land, potent land is hunted and its indigenous state is compromised with.
2. Agricultural activities
With the growing high human population, demand for food has increased considerably. Farmers often use highly toxic fertilizers and pesticides to get rid off insects, fungi and bacteria from their crops. However with the overuse of these chemicals, they result in contamination and poisoning of soil which causes many deaseases in human beings from food ,that are obtain from this poisonous soil.
3. Mining activities
Minerals are mined from Underground deposits. Excessive mining of minerals will create a hollow space inside the earth. As a result of this, the land may collapse leading to minor earthquake. We constant hear about land caving in; this is nothing but nature’s way of filling the spaces left out after mining or extraction activity and the important source of energy will get exhausted in near future.
4. Overcrowded landfills
Each household produces tonnes of garbage every year. Garbage like aluminum, plastic, paper, cloth, wood is collected and sent to the local recycling unit. But some people through the garbage in open land which causes land pollution. These items that can not be recycled become a part of the landfills that hampers the beauty of the city and cause land pollution.
5. Industrialization
Due to an increase in demand for food, shelter, and house, more goods are produced. This resulted in creation of more waste that needs to be disposed of. To meet the demand of the growing population, more industries were developed which led to deforestation. Research and development paved the way for modern fertilizers and chemicals that were highly toxic and led to soil contamination. Many forest are destroy due to increaseing population of human because all people need shelter, food or other things
6. Construction activities
Due to urbanization, a large number of construction activities are taking place which has resulted in large waste articles like wood, metal, bricks, plastic that can be seen by naked eyes outside any building or office which is under construction. Many buildings and houses are made every year..
7. Nuclear waste
Nuclear plants can produce a huge amount of energy through nuclear fission and fusion. The left over radioactive material contains harmful and toxic chemicals that can affect human health. They are dumped beneath the earth to avoid any casualty.
8. Sewage treatment
A large amount of solid waste is leftover once the sewage has been treated. The leftover material is sent to landfill site which end up in polluting the environment and causes many deaseases bacteria,As result there many deaseases today.
Effects of Land Pollution
1. Soil pollution
Soil pollution is another form of land pollution, where the upper layer of the soil is damaged. This is caused by the overuse of chemical fertilizers, soil erosion caused by running water and other pest control measures; this leads to loss of fertile land for agriculture, forest cover, overgrazing causes soil erosion.
2. Change in climate patterns
The effects of land pollution are very hazardous and can lead to the loss of ecosystems. When land is polluted, it directly or indirectly affects the climate patterns. For example like global warming, greehouse effect.
3. Environmental impact
When deforestation is committed, the tree cover is compromised. This leads to a steep imbalance in the rain cycle. A disturbed rain cycle affects a lot of factors. To begin with, the green cover is reduced. Trees and plants help balance the atmosphere, without them we are subjected to various concerns like Global warming, the greenhouse effect, irregular rainfall and flash floods among other imbalances.
4. Effect on human health
The land when contaminated with toxic chemicals and pesticides lead to the problem of skin cancer and the human respiratory system. The toxic chemicals can reach our body through foods and vegetables that we eat as they are grown in polluted soil.
land pollution
5. Causes air pollution
Landfills across the city keep on growing due to an increase in waste and are later burned which leads to air pollution. They become home for rodents, mice, etc which in turn transmit diseases.
6. Distraction for tourists
The city loses its attraction as a tourist destination as landfills do not look good when you move around the city. It leads to a loss of revenue for the state government.
7. Effect on wildlife
The animal kingdom has suffered most in the past decades. They face a serious threat with regards to the loss of habitat and natural environment. The constant human activity on land, is leaving it polluted; forcing these species to move further away and adapt to new regions or die trying to adjust. Several species are pushed to the verge of extinction, due to no homeland. No any river is left from polluted,so wild animals have not drinking water.
Other issues that we face include increased temperature, unseasonal weather activity, acid rains, etc. The discharge of chemicals on land, makes it dangerous for the ecosystem too. These chemicals are consumed by the animals and plants and thereby make their way in the ecosystem. This process is called biomagnification and is a serious threat to the ecology.
Solutions for Land Pollution
1. Make people aware of the concept of Reduce, Recycle and Reuse.
2. Reduce the use of pesticides and fertilizers in agricultural activities.
3. Avoid buying packages items as they will lead to garbage and end up in the landfill site.
4. Ensure that you do not litter on the ground and do proper disposal of garbage.
5. Buy biodegradable products.
6. Do organic gardening and eat organic food that will be grown without the use of pesticides.
7. Create dumping ground away from residential areas.
